The Visiting Nurses of the Lower Valley, Inc. was formed in 1920 originally in Essex, CT. Home Care and Community Health Services are available from the Visiting Nurses of the Lower Valley, Inc. to anyone living in Centerbrook, Clinton, East Haddam, Essex, Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Old Lyme, Chester, Deep River, Haddam, Ivoryton, Old Saybrook and Westbrook.

• Anyone can request services - your doctor, hospital, family or friends. Or you can call the Visiting Nurse Office at (860) 767-0186, (860) 510-0628
• Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

• FEES are based on the actual cost of services. For many patients, Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance plans cover all or part of the charge. Individuals, residing in Essex and Chester, without a way to pay may receive selected home visiting services at low cost or no cost.
