Adjectives such as knowledgeable, kind, dedicated, caring, and patient, are often used to describe our nurses. With an average of 19 years of home health experience, our nurses check vital signs, monitor the effects of medications, and track dietary changes. They work diligently with the patient to control the impact of acute and chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and heart disease, and to reduce complications caused by wounds and ostomies. Equally important, they teach self-care techniques to patients and their caregivers, which foster independence and enhance healing.
