November 1-7, 2016 is National Memory Screening Week
Early memory screenings can be helpful! Memory screenings are FREE and take approximately 10 minutes. Memory screenings are a first step toward identifying a memory problem. Early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease can improve quality of life for those individuals with the disease as well as their families and caregivers. Did you know that not all memory problems are caused by Alzheimer’s and some memory problems can be easily treated? Are you interested in having a memory screening?
Visiting Nurses of the Lower Valley is hosting Memory Screening the first Friday of every month beginning November 6th from 10am-12 noon as part of Alzheimer Foundation of America’s National Memory Screening Program.
