A home health aide can help you when you or your family as faced with problems caring for someone due to
illness, disability, or advancing years. Home Health aides provide compassionate care in your home when you or
someone close to you needs assistance. They are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Visiting Nurses of the Lower Valley Home Health Aides (HHAs) assist patients with their "activities of
daily living" (ADL) at a time when the patients abilities may be limited by illness or injury. The Home Health
Aides work under the supervision and direction of the patient's nurse. Without these types of services, frail elderly
or disabled people, might not be able to remain independent at home.
All home health aides are trained and supervised on an ongoing basis. Supervisors are available anytime a HHA is in your home. Home health aides are assigned under doctor's orders and closely directed by our professional nursing staff.
